Setting the Tone

There are no kittens involved in this post

Are you the reason Mr Abbott was elected by His party to be OUR prime minster? Is it because you didn’t engage with your local Member, and or political parties and say “Shit no, not him!!”

For those of you that see politics as some type of sport, to cheer and boo, you need to realize that you are being played for fools by the media and the two major political parties. Don’t be told, do the telling. You is the people, not fools.

The next lot may be no better, best you engage, best you talk to them, talk and convince others, listen, learn engage, compromise to a point, fight when you have too. Democracy, of the people, by the people for the people. You is the people, not spectators

Please remember that while Mr Abbott is no longer our prime minister his actions and influences still have to play out in the world for, in some cases, years into future. He was  no lone gun man, wild card, he got there with the help of some and the silence of many. You is the people, do not be silent.

He has not gone anywhere, he is still in Parliament and votes on behalf of his electorate You is the people,  best you engage now because if we did then, he would never have been the prime minister of Australia. That is our shame.

This post is part of the “My Wannon Electorate Project”. The Democratic process is a two way street. We in Australia are obliged to vote for federal, state and local governments. This is my way to engage with the people who are elected to represent me in the various tiers of Government. @3373 @DanTehan ‪@Louisestanley‬ ‪@MichaelOConnor‬ #3373 #DanTehan ‪#‎Louisestanley‬ ‪#‎MichaelOConnor‬ I hope you do the same because by talking to each other, we can understand each other better and make our world a better place
